This year our TV Christmas Special Winter Weekend will introduce a new contest to local merchants wanting to spread the Christmas spirit.  Though all merchants are encouraged to decorate their stores and windows for the season, this year’s contest will involve an outdoor focus.

The Christmas Tree Decorating Contest will focus on decorating Christmas trees to reflect the products offered in our various stores.  Those trees will be put outside participants’ storefronts on Friday, November 28th when they will be judged by a special committee.  The trees will be supplied by the BIA.  Those wishing to compete pay a $10.00 fee and will be eligible to win BIA bucks in the amount of $100 first prize, $75.00 second prize and $50.00 third prize.   For more information or to register for a tree to decorate, call the Tilbury BIA at 519 682 3040.
